Hi friends! Hope you're all doing very well. I've been thinking of doing something more interesting with my posts from time to time, spicing things up a bit or taking up some challenges, so I was really excited to partner up with Anthropologie and create a story of one dress, worn at different times of the day. Now, this was absolutely a no brainer for me, I love dresses that you can dress up or down, wear it to the beach or dinner, really, I always wear something like that that's easy to transform from day to night. Other than that, I've always been a fan of Anthropologie style, it's boho and free spirited, but not too much, I think it's very Riviera. Let me know what you think of these two looks and which is your favorite! Check out Anthropologie blog for more.
Isn't this the most picturesque view ever? The sea, yachts, St. Marguerite island in the far background... The true colors of the Riviera! Every corner is so beautiful here, a bloggers dream haha! Especially during the summer, where everywhere you look beautiful flowers are in full bloom. Bougainvillea must be my favorite, I'm always happy to see one. Hope you guys are having a great summer so far, it's hard to believe we're already in July!
There are so many cool places to see in Southern France. L'Étang Fontmerle in Mougins is the largest Lotus colony in Europe and it's really a sight for sore eyes. Plants bloom from July to early September. I've never seen a Lotus flower before so I was quite surprised how big they are. The flowers get up to 25cm in diameter with leaves up to 1 meter across! The pond is also a home for over 70 bird species. If you're in the area during the season, it's a must see!
Most days this summer my style feels a lot like the characters from those telenovelas I used to watch when I was little. I guess it's all these off shoulder frilly tops, oh weren't they so popular in those old Mexican soap operas? Haha I love it though, I always had a thing for that style. It's blazing hot in France already and it's only June, so anything off shoulder and backless is on demand!
It still amazes me how every single corner in France is so flawless and enchanting. No matter where you go, everything is made and built with class, taste, romance... No wonder French good taste is so idolized. You can really feel it everywhere, it's in people, fashion, art, architecture, exterior, it's even in the air. Each country has their 'best spots', but in France, I am yet to find a bad looking place. Sometimes it really feels like a fairytale world.
