 This is the time for you

While most of us are stuck at our homes, why not make the most of this time and finally give yourself that me time you've been putting off for so long? There's no better time than now to take care of your well being, both physically and mentally. Here are some of my favorite ways to get into that zen mindspace:

Do your nightly routine by candle light. Not only it's going to feel so much more special, it will also subconsciously prepare your body for night time and you'll sleep better. 

 Diffuse essential oils. Not only essential oils raise the vibration of your body, they can also be anti-viral and kill bacteria in the air. Aromatherapy + cleaner air! 

 Take a salt bath. Salt will draw out toxins from your body and relax your muscles. I like to make my own aromatherapy bath salts with Lavender and Rosemary essential oils. Heaven!

 Step up your skincare routine. Finally do all those steps you always wanted to do. Use that jade roller. Use that one extra product. Or 3.

 Spend time in the sun. If it's a sunny day and you're able to get outside in your balcony or a garden, sit in the sun for at least 15 min doing absolutely nothing. I promise, it will feel incredible.

 Make your home your sanctuary. If your home feels like a sanctuary, you'll always be in a better state of mind while spending time there. My golden rule is to only keep things that are useful or beautiful. Make your space beautiful. Make it inspiring, sacred. When I was a little girl I wanted to live inside of Jeannie's bottle. While this dream didn't come true, I sure am trying to make my space feel just as magical as that!
