Zesty, fresh citrusy scents are my favorite! Especially during the summer time, they're irreplaceable. It can be tricky to find the perfect scent since many citrus based fragrances smell a little too masculine or unisex which isn't what I'm looking for in a perfume at all. However after a little research I sourced all the most amazing citrus-based fragrances, that each are so different from one another, everyone will get their match!
If you're looking for a pure lemon juice in a bottle, this is it. Lemon & verbena duo is just wow, literally the freshest scent is the world. L'occitane Citrus Verbena is definitely a go-to fragrance for the hottest time of the year.
JO MALONE SORREL & LEMON THYME
Jo Malone sorrel & lemon thyme is quite similar to L'occitane's citrus verbena, except sorrel and thyme adds more of a green note to the scent. It's equally fresh but it's less sharp and a little more earthy.
LAURA MERCIER TEA MENTHE CITRON
Laura Mercier Tea Menthe Citron is the sweetest of them all (and it even rhymes haha). To me this smells like citrus iced tea with a hint of vanilla. It's such an innocent, sweet summer scent, you couldn't not love this! This definitely makes to my top scents ever list!
AERIN MEDITERRANEAN HONEYSUCKLE
Aerin Mediterranean Honeysuckle is the most sophisticated of all, which is known for Aerin scents anyway. It's a whole citrus punch with notes of grapefruit, bergamot and mandarin orange, combined with beautiful white flowers: lily of the valley, honeysuckle, gardenia and jasmine sambac. It's both citrus and floral and it's really a beautiful, "put together" citrus scent.
The sorrel and lemon thyme fragrance and the Mediterranean honeysuckle sound divine! Thanks for the inspiration to get new scents!
