HERE'S WHAT I WORE...
...
When we first got to LA, for a while we stayed in a hotel in Santa Monica. It was just an awesome stay for the first few days but we had do find some place more permanent (and affordable) so we rented this room in Mid City right on La Brea Avenue. We didn't check the neighborhood before booking and when we got there, I panicked. Here's the thing about LA, every single part of it is so different from one another, and it was a bit of a cultural shock.
Mid City didn't feel like a super safe place. All kinds of weird shops and creepy corners, I could barely hear anyone speak English as most of the people living here are Mexican. However, sometimes it's just the first impression of something unexpected. Within the few weeks time it all got a whole new appeal (well, the creepy corners and the weird shops are still here) but so are some nice ones and don't even get me started to talk on Mexican food oh my so good. It's not the finest area but it's not as bad as the first impression suggests. We got to live in a really nice house with a beautiful backyard, people here are friendly and helpful and since it's mid city, it's literally in the middle of everything which is so convenient.
Great sweater, it matches perfectly to the rest of the look!

I just love the skirt and the shape and color is just too pretty. It's so exciting you are loving LA and are you moving there? It seems like so much fun and I remember growing up in a community like that but you just get used to it.
