When you're getting into the world of Essential Oils, it's extremely important to do your research and make the right choice with your retailer. More often than not, the oils can be heavily diluted even though they're being described as pure. A good rule of thumb is, if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. Here are some things to keep in mind when purchasing essential oils:

❀ Cost
It takes as much as 2 tons of rose petals to produce a pound of Rose essential oil, so you can't expect the $10 bottle to be pure. Good quality essential oils won't be cheap. Don't trust vendors who charge the same amount for all of their oils.

❀ Purity
There is no official definition of purity, which is why so many retailers will use this term even though the oils aren't really pure. Always check the store reviews before purchasing from them.

❀ Organic
Look for brands that are sustainable and offer organic oils.

My personal go-to brand for essential oils is Eden's Garden. I couldn't love them enough. Eden's Garden oils are unadulterated, free of synthetics and entirely pure. EG is an eco-conscious company that chooses sustainable practices whenever possible from soil to bottle. The oils are some of the highest quality I ever tried, and they have the absolute best prices. I trust Eden's Garden to buy even some of the most expensive oils out there such as Rose, Neroli and Blue Tansy, and at a much lower price than most retailers.
