It has been way too long since my last beauty post, so today I thought I'd share with you my top 3 skincare brands that I've been regularly using for the past year. I'm being more conscious about the products I recommend so I'm making sure I used the products for a long enough time to know if they really work or not! I guess a year is long enough haha? Let's get into it!
I discovered Tatcha almost 2 years ago and honestly can't go without! I simply adore the story and inspiration behind the brand, it's all about the centuries old geisha beauty secrets and rituals. I use their Camellia beauty Oil every single day and it has helped clearing my skin immensely, along with a mixture of Camellia cleaning oil & rice enzyme powder which leaves the skin super clean without drying it out.
I'm currently trying their latest products, The Essence, which is basically a superfuild of Japan's essential nutrients for healthy & youthful skin. Another new product I'm trying is the water cream, the texture of this cream really amazed me because it completely disappears on the skin making it the perfect summer moisturizer! Honestly everything I try from Tatcha, I love.
La Mer is another superbrand that I've been really enjoying lately. There's also quite an interesting story behind the brand:
"La Mer’s journey began when Dr. Max Huber suffered burns
Fresh, the third and the latest addition to my skincare regime. I've fallen in love with this brand last summer for their simplicity and efficacy. I honestly love everything I try from the brand, and some of my favorites include the Vitamin Nectar face mask (amazing, -amazing), sugar lip treatments - I have like 10 of these now, if you haven't tried them - what are you doing with your life? (just kidding haha), and I also love their black tea range which is more of an anti-aging line. I also just started trying their deep hydration facial toner and I'm loving it - the whole Rose product line is so so good!
Obviously, I don't use all these products every single day, however taking care of my skin has been like a little ritual that I enjoy doing every morning and night and I love trying and mixing different products! And as usual I strongly believe that skincare should be one thing that you take seriously and don't mind splurging on once in a while. You will thank yourself in 10 years!
