Tory Burch Eau de Parfum opens with notes of grapefruit, pink pepper, currant buds and leaves, mandarin and neroli. The heart blooms with peony, tuberose, mimosa, jasmine, carrot seed and sweet alyssum, on a base composed of vetiver, cedar, sandalwood and white musk. Feminine and tomboy. Easy and polished. To me it smells just like a bouquet of peonies on a crispy spring day.
AERIN 'Waterlily Sun' Eau de Parfum top notes are bergamot and green notes; middle notes are water lily and jasmine; base note is musk. Very green, very clean, very aquatic. Refreshing and classy, just like Aerin Lauder herself. Delicate yet alluring waterlily and softly exotic jasmine sambac add layers of depth and intensity, warmed by sweetly inviting musk. The effect is bright, dewy and fresh. Aboslutely love the bottle and the packaging too!
Jo Malone London 'Peony & Blush Suede' Cologne features a charming mix of peonies, red apple, jasmine, rose and gillyflower, all mingling with a sensual blush suede. I've lost a count of how many bottles of perfume I had, but so far Peony & Blush Suede is the most stand out scent of all. There's just something different about it... It's fresh, yet quite heavy. The scent lingers throughout the day. It smells different on the skin than from the bottle. It's clean yet sensuous and daring. Just unique.
AERIN 'Evening Rose' Eau de Parfum is vibrant with contrast. Juicy Blackberry and rich Cognac
unexpectedly blend with voluptuous Rose Centifolia and Bulgarian Rose
Absolute in an intriguing, alluring elixir. Incense, sensuous and
luxurious, imparts soft warmth, like a lingering memory of an
unforgettable evening. With the first sniff it became one of my top scents of all time - and this is funny, but to me it smells like roses and bubblegum. It feels both grown up and classy yet quirky and fun.
Let me know what your top scents this spring are!
